When translating a website, quality control is essential. You may not want your AI-generated translations to be visible to your website visitors the exact second they are created.

To give you complete control over your localization workflow, MultiLipi offers **Staging Mode**. This feature allows you to keep your project in a **"Draft / Offline"** state while you generate, view, and edit your translated content safely behind the scenes. Once you and your team are 100% satisfied with the quality, you can push the project live with a single click.

## The Benefits of Using Staging Mode

Using Staging Mode is highly recommended for businesses with strict brand guidelines, complex technical layouts, or team-based review processes.

### Zero Live Mistakes

Prevent unfinished or unreviewed AI translations from being seen by your live website visitors.

### Visual Quality Assurance (QA)

Translated words are often longer or shorter than your original text. Staging allows you to review how the translations fit into your website's buttons, menus, and layout before the public sees it.

### Safe Team Collaboration

Give your human translators or bilingual team members the time they need to review and refine the text without the pressure of editing a live webpage.

## Phase 1: How to Enable Staging for a New Project

You can activate Staging Mode right from the beginning when you are first adding a new website to MultiLipi.

1

Log in to your MultiLipi Dashboard and click **Add New Project**.

2

Proceed through the setup wizard to **الخطوة 2** (where you define your project name and languages).

3

On the top right corner find the **Staging Mode** option.

4

قم بتبديل المفتاح إلى **تشغيل** (Keep translations offline until ready to publish).

5

انقر **Next** and complete the rest of the setup process as normal.

Step 2: Enable Staging Mode during project setup

**Note:** With this toggle enabled, MultiLipi will generate your translations in the background, but your live website visitors will not see the language switcher or any translated text yet.

## Phase 2: Reviewing and Editing Your Draft

Once your project is created in Staging Mode, you will notice a clear **Draft / Offline** badge next to your project name on the main dashboard. This confirms your site is safely hidden from the public.

While your project is offline, you have full access to all of MultiLipi's editing tools:

- انتقل إلى **Translations List** or open the **المحرر المرئي** .
- Read through the AI-generated translations.
- Manually alter any text, fix formatting issues, or adjust the phrasing to better match your brand's specific tone of voice.
- Ensure the new languages don't break your website layout.

Everything you edit here is saved securely in your dashboard, completely hidden from your live users.

## Phase 3: How to Publish Your Project Live

Once your team has reviewed the translations and you are ready to share your multilingual site with the world, it is time to turn off Draft Mode.

1

From your project dashboard, look at the left-hand navigation menu and click on **Setup**.

2

Locate the **Project Status**القسم.

3

Switch the toggle to **تمكين** (When toggled, your project will go live...).

4

انقر **حفظ التغييرات** .

### Congratulations!

Your fully reviewed, perfectly translated website is now live and accessible to your international audience.

## Best Practices: The Ideal Staging Workflow

To get the most out of Staging Mode, we highly recommend establishing a standard operating procedure (SOP) for your localization team. Here is the ideal workflow used by top multilingual brands:

### 1. The Initial Generation

The project manager adds the new website to MultiLipi with Staging Mode enabled. The AI generates the baseline translations in the background.

### 2. The Linguistic Review

Human translators or native-speaking team members log into the dashboard to review the AI's work. They adjust the tone, fix regional nuances, and ensure the brand voice is consistent.

### 3. The Visual QA (Quality Assurance)

A designer or webmaster uses the Visual Editor to check how the new text looks on the actual webpage. They verify that long words (like those common in German or Russian) do not break buttons, overlap images, or push menus off-screen.

### 4. The Final Approval

Once both the linguistics and the layout are approved, the project manager toggles the site to Live.

## How Staging Protects Your Multilingual SEO

Beyond visual quality, Staging Mode acts as a critical safety net for your international Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Search engines like Google crawl and index your website constantly. If you push raw, unreviewed AI translations live immediately, Google might index text that contains structural errors, incorrect keywords, or broken entity associations. This can negatively impact your domain's authority in that target language.

By keeping your translations in Staging Mode, you ensure that search engine bots cannot see or index your new language pages until they have been fully optimized, proofread, and perfected. When you finally flip the switch to "Live," Google crawls a high-quality, authoritative page that is primed to rank well.

### SEO Best Practice

Always use Staging Mode when launching new language versions to ensure perfect SEO optimization before search engines index your content. This protects your domain authority and ensures maximum visibility in target markets.
